Recognize the essential and act on it
To the heart of the issue in four steps
- To solve complex planning problems we usually build models.
- We do this, because to build a good model, you have to deeply understand the underlying issues.
- The model building process forces you to clarify objects, organisation, processes, relationships and dynamics.
- Once the model is built, it streamlines discussions and provides actable information.
Here is how we work:
Listen
- We know that every planning and investment problem is unique.
- To truly add value, we have to understand where you are and where you are coming from.
- Therefore, we start by listening and asking questions.
Analyse & Plan
- Serious financial investment analysis and planning requires skill and experience.
- Before we do, we analyse and plan the project carefully.
- Then we prove feasibility by implementing core aspects of the solution.
Do
- We use very specialized and partly proprietary applications to build the model for and with you.
- Model-building is an interactive activity. We will have questions.
- With every discussion the issues become clearer – for you and for us.
Report
- Building a model works as an in-depth audit of the project/investment/firm analysed.
- Crucial insights are gained by building the model as well as by using it.
- One part of results is directly visible in the figures/the model.
- Finer points (organisational balance, key drivers, strength and weaknesses) are usually not.
- We thus normally report our findings and present them to you.
